Lizard Joe's began as a dream in the summer of 2004. In 2005 we found the location for our dream on the beach in the small
fishing village of Chelem Yucatan Mexico. 2006 through 2010 we began transforming our precious pile of rubble into our home
and began making small improvements at the Lizard Joes location. Now in 2011 we continue to build on the dream, breaking
ground on the restaurant and bar and entering the next phase to transforming our dream into reality. Just like our BBQ,
the process for building and opening a restaurant in Mexico is a long, slow process but we are optimistic that in the end
the results just as GREAT as our BBQ.
