Welcome to Lizard Joe's!!! Stop in an try our all natural, straight from the ranch, beef brisket! We spend days preparing the meat
followed by 16 to 20 hours of low and slow smoking using cepote from Quintana Roo to ensure your BBQ experience is as close as you
can come to best BBQ spots in Texas. Not in the mood for Brisket, give our classic Slow Joe pulled pork basted in our apple cider
mop sauce, our fall off the bone Pork Ribs, Argentinian Sausage links or Texas Beef Chili!!! And don't forget the side dishes,
we have some of your Southern Favorites including potato salad, cole slaw, pinto beans, mac-n-cheese, grilled corn on the cob. If
your not in a hurry, maybe you would like to try our Grilled Black Bean filled Chile Relleno or Armadillo Eggs, we don't make them
until you order them.
Want to bring the family to the beach or looking for a place to rent for a party? Lizard Joe's is family friendly, located on one
of the best beaches in Chelem, has outdoor showers, clean modern bathrooms, a stage and games. So come on in, get comfortable and
spend the day with us.
Looking for some Live Music? Most Friday evenings Lizard Joe's becomes a bar while the Lizard is out back smoking the meats for
Saturday. Fridays feature some of the best up and coming regional bands and of course you never know when Texas Legend Joe King
Carrasco or friends may decide to come join us. Fridays also have drink specials, botanas and dish of the day for those that
just have to have something more than botanas.
